Roosevelt Park is a great place to bring the kids to play on the playground or to run in the fields and throw a Frisbee. Renovated a few years ago, the park now has basketball courts and bathrooms as well. Other parks such as Pacific Trails Park and Whatcom Falls park are in the Roosevelt neighborhood or border it. This photo shows some of the improvements being made to the park.

Students living in the Roosevelt neighborhood attend Sunnyland, Roosevelt or Northern Heights Elementary schools. Older students will attend either Shuksan, Kulshan or Whatcom Middle Schools and teenagers attend Squalicum or Bellingham High School. To view reports on these schools, click here.
