Alabama Hill is a residential neighborhood with single family houses built during the 1960's and 1970's. Located on the eastern side of the city near the north end of Lake Whatcom, houses in Alabama Hill are of contemporary design and set towards the views of the bay and city. Homes and yards are very well maintained with most of the lots have a two/one depth/width ratio meaning they typically have a good sized back yard. Broad curved streets, cul-de-sacs and lots of sidewalks make this neighborhood feel open and inviting
