South Neighborhood is one fo the most forested communities in Bellingham and is home to large lots. Some pieces of land are even large enough for horses and other animals. Homes in this neighborhood vary from older farm style homes to the new constructions in the area's expanding developments.
A cruise around the neighborhood might be a little challenging if you dont know your way around, as many of the streets are dead ends or gravel roads. The main through streets which you will find are Old Samish Hwy, 24th St and Chuckanut Drive.
