Alabama Street cuts right through the middle of this compact Bellingham neigborhood. Roosevelt features a mix of older and newer single-family, but multi-family units can be found scattered throughout the neighborhood as well. Most of the growth in this neighborhood is from condominium and apartment buildings. The lots tend to be smaller, but in general the area is well maintained.
While Roosevelt is mainly residential, there is some commercial to the north along Sunset. Other amenities are very close as well with Barkley Village to the east, Sunset Square directly north and easy access to the freeway. Ohio Street, Bellingham's car dealership mecca, lines the south end of the neighborhood.
